Crazy Bags adds laminated canvas bags to portfolio
Time: 2009-08-25
By Jill Park
Crazy Bags has addressed the issue of spillages in material bags with the launch of a new laminated exhibition and shopper bag for autumn.

Fully laminated inner panels mean the bag, which can be transfer printed or screen printed for less complex designs, can be wiped clean.

It is available in "exhibition size" at 46cm wide, by 12cm deep and 36cm high and "shopper size" 39cm wide by 17cm deep by 36cm high in natural canvas and black.

East Sussex-based Crazy Bags used to specialise in paper bags and added eco-bags to its range in July last year to meet growing demand.

"Eco-bags have mushroomed in the past 12-15 months," managing director Andy Steavenson told Packaging News.

"We were never importers, but now eco-bags are so big and delivery times are so long from Asia, it doesn't fit in with promotional needs not to hold stock in the UK."

Eco-bags was established in 2000 and specialises in cotton, canvas, jute, traditional paper and polythene bags.
