Thames Packaging Group, a manufacturer of plastic packs for the personal care sector, has won a contract to supply its latest slider shower gel pack to Tesco for one of the supermarket's own-brand ranges.

 

The 250ml polypropylene packs are being manufactured at the company's facility in Maidenhead, before being transported to Bradford for filling.

 

The closure for the pack is being supplied by an additional company, which Thames Packaging declined to name.

 

The company will supply more than a million units a year.

 

The packs were first sold in Tesco stores three weeks ago.
