Coca-Cola China picks Bericap closure for sparkling PET packs
Time: 2009-07-29
Coca-Cola China has chosen Bericap’s SuperShorty closure for its sparkling PET packages.

The drinks company had decided to reduce material usage by converting its PCO 1810 neck finish to PCO 1881. Coca-Cola introduced the PCO neck finish for its carbonated soft drinks in August 2008 and then started using SuperShorty in the first quarter of this year.

Bericap China has supplied closures to Coca-Cola in the past and worked with the company to convert its production lines to SuperShorty. With the Coca-Cola contract behind it, Bericap China estimates that the company will produce more than one billion SuperShorty closures by the end of 2009.
